IDA can receive documents in either electronic or paper form, supporting both event-driven ingestion as well as high-volume processing.  The configurable scheduling function can be defined to either receive or otherwise seek and pickup documents (from a single document to batches of thousands) within either internal or external systems.  In either case, rule-based validation, reporting, and compensation where errors occur is configured to ensure successful ingestion or otherwise initiate a workflow where manual intervention is required. 

Document and Data Encryption with FIPS 140-2 compliance using validated cryptographic modules as well as AES-256 for encryption at rest and TLS/SSL for in transit, ensures secure data handling and HIPAA compliance, protecting sensitive health information throughout its lifecycle.
