Solutions Architect
Ray Reaux
Ray is a multifaceted, jack-of-all trades technology worker with a blend of management experience and technical acumen that underscores his commitment to excellence and innovation in the tech landscape. His experience runs the entire range of information technology from software architecture, design, and implementation, to database schema design, and computer systems and networks architecture. He has built technology infrastructure for small and medium sized corporations from concept to operations. He’s had to learn and adapt on every aspect of architecting, designing, implementing, securing, and operating the information technologies necessary to meet an organization's business goals.
As a former CTO of a startup that focused on providing web-based document processing for legal workers, Ray had to direct business analysis, capacity planning, security strategies, application migrations, and technical risk analyses to build and maintain the technical solution. He built and ran the on-site corporate data facility before moving the resources to the then newly launched AWS Cloud. Because the corporation was a startup, it made sense for them to apply open-source technology such as PostgreSQL, Java, Apache and Tomcat, Elasticsearch, and Linux in the architecture for running the corporation’s proprietary software. Ray also gained experience in leading and mentoring a diverse international crew of technical personnel.
His work for Infocap also strengthened his experience in automating document processing by harnessing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Machine Learning (ML) to enhance enterprise’s ability to automate work processes to achieve technical agility and efficiency. His further experience in assisting the migration of on-premises systems to AWS cloud services with the access to the huge range of cloud-native services motivated him to acquire certification as an AWS Solutions Architect.
Personal Motto: Human factors, human-computer interaction, human-centric automation.
