Infocap’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification

Infocap AI Corp is pleased to announce that we have successfully completed our Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1 (UID:S100030441) assessment. This assessment confirms that we have implemented the required foundational cybersecurity practices to protect Federal ContractInformation (FCI) in alignment with the Department of Defense(DoD) expectations.

Why This Matters

As a contractor supporting DoD-related work, we are entrusted with handling information that, while not classified, is still sensitive to the Government and our customers. Achieving CMMC Level 1 readiness is important for several reasons:

• Contract Eligibility: Many current and future DoD contracts require evidence of compliance with basic safeguarding requirements.
• Risk Reduction: Implementing standardized controls reduces the likelihood of data loss, unauthorized access, and operational disruption.
• Customer & Partner Confidence: Demonstrating alignment with DoD cybersecurity standards reinforces trust in our ability to protect their information and systems.

Connection to DoD Standards:FAR 52.204-21

Our CMMC Level 1 assessment is closely aligned with FAR 52.204-21– Basic Safeguarding of Covered Contractor Information Systems. This federal clause establishes the minimum-security requirements for systems that process, store, or transmit covered contractor information, including FCI.

In summary, FAR 52.204-21 requires contractors to implement a set of basic safeguarding measures, such as:

• Limiting system access to authorized users
• Identifying and authenticating users and devices
• Protecting information at rest and in transit, where appropriate
• Performing timely patching and maintenance
• Providing physical protections for systems and media
• Monitoring, logging, and protecting against malicious code and unauthorized access

These safeguards are foundational to our cybersecurity posture and form the baseline that CMMC Level 1 builds upon.

With our Level 1 assessment completed, Infocap will:

• Maintain our implemented controls as part of normal operations
• Continue to improve our cybersecurity maturity in anticipation of future DoD requirements
• Provide documentation and evidence of our compliance to contracting officers or customers upon request
